On Line - Continued

"On Line at the Theatre" - wip
11" x 14"

I worked on this some more today and it's starting to develop.  But I must admit, I spent a good portion of the day outdoors, chillin' by the pool, trying to squeeze out some more summer before it's gone.  Here in the Northeast our sweet, warm days are numbered, so I'm trying to make the most of what's left of them.  But I'll try to work harder tomorrow . . . (at my tan) . . . nooooo . . . my painting!  :)

Thanks for visiting!

  1. This looks really like a ton of fun. I love this idea of yours for the Fisher Price Series. Only someone who truly has a child-like mind would be able to come up with great ideas like this! Can't wait for further progress shots, but I understand your desire of immerse yourself in the last bits of summer before it's too late... Well, there is always that long winter that we can get serious and paint away... (What? Not Really? That's right -- I forgot all the holiday hustle and bustle, the family visits and end of year shopping spree... Ok, ok, it's hard and let's just keep trying to squeeze out what little painting time we could every day... ;-P)

    1. So true Arena -- it's sometimes really tough to stay disciplined and squeeze out paint time when there are so many other things to do. But it's fun. Glad you like the Fisher Price series. They're fun to paint -- a welcome departure from some of my other paintings. I like being able to use so many bright primary colors. And they definitely depict my goofy side. :)

    1. Thank you Renate. I don't know what it is about those Fisher Price people, but they usually make people smile. :)
