Updating

I spent a lot of time over the past few days working on my website and updating my online presence at storenvy and DPW.  I am now offering framed prints of my work.  The best part is that they are UV protected giclees, archivally mounted so that they needn't be placed under glass and look like the original paintings on aquabord (like "Cape Cod Roses" above -- this is a photo of the actual framed giclee). The prints are very lightweight and easy to ship, and a fraction of what the originals sell for.  I only have two to offer right now, but am planning to get a few more together.  I'm hoping I can do some serious marketing for these this winter.

I also put up a couple new card images and giclee images for sale and I have a new shipment of 2017 calendars due in this week.

The new 2017 wall calendars are on their way!
$20

I struggle with keeping up on my marketing and am always vowing to do better.  And when I'm pressed for time, I usually choose to paint instead of market.  Perhaps someday I'll strike a workable balance.  There's always hope, eh?   :)

Have a great week!

Online Store

As you may recall, I've been trying to organize and plan better work routines for 2016.  Part of that has been accounting for my inventory of original paintings, notecards and fine art prints.  So this week I have been working on my online store.  Shown above are some of the notecards that I've uploaded.  I'm hoping to replenish stock on some designs and to add more in the near future.  It's a lot of work, but fun!

Thanks for taking a peek!

Online Shopping

HALLOOO!  It's been a while as I was all bogged down working on a house-project last week.  But more about that later.

I finally have my online store up and running.  I don't have EVERYTHING I want to put up there, but I have most of the basics -- some notecards, my 2015 calendars, giclees, belts & buckles.  It's a start.  I hope you get the chance to check it out:  http://karakbigda.storenvy.com.

Now onto my project -- I was busy last week painting our kitchen.  It took about 6 days (with some help from my dad and husband).  We have a galley kitchen (not my favorite), however until we decide to REALLY make it over (with new cabinets, countertops, appliances - maybe even combine it with what's now the dining room), we painted the hideous dark oak cabinets, walls and ceiling.  Unfortunately neither Dan nor I took "before" photos.  Gaaahh! We're such dopes.  But here are a couple images of the new paint job anyway.  At least it's cleaned up and much brighter.  I ordered some wooden knobs that I will paint the same color as the cabinets and plan on painting the door as well.

I hope you all are doing well.  I'm behind the eight-ball as usual.  Ha!  Thanks for popping by.
