Well hello again!

Has anyone else had a tough time getting back into the swing of things after the holidays?  It was a glorious end to the year for me.  I had a wonderful Open Studio event at the beginning of December and then slipped into Christmas preparations for the rest of the month.  Because my house was pretty much all decorated I could relax a bit and enjoy my holidays. 

However . . . the more time I'm away from my work routine, the more difficult it is to get back into it and am paying the price now.  Ha!  But that's okay.

Now onto the "garden" part of my post.  I worked feverishly (literally -- it was like 90 degrees out! Ha!) on my gardens, Friday. For three years I've wanted some raised beds up on my hill for a few vegetables but have never followed through. Well I've been out messing in the yard this Spring and finally got my act together only to discover about 20 minutes later, Delilah, enjoying herself on Bed #1! So much for thinking that I didn't need a fence. You should see my yard -- it's a maze of silly little fences because of my two unruly, furry children. But how do you get mad at that precious face?!
