Switching It Up

work-in-progress
12' x 12"
(watercolor on aquabord)

I've been stealing away some time here and there to continue working on this 12" x 12" of lovely little outbuilding I encountered on Cape Cod a couple years ago.  I began this painting in May and put it on hold to work on commissions.

Here are some progress shots . . . it's always fun to see how a painting gets "built."

Thanks for popping by . . . . have a great weekend!

  1. I think these type of paintings are like desert! They are something that you savor after the main course. I like taking breaks from commissions and working on my own stuff, it helps me not to get "stuck". As always, this painting and your work is beautiful!
