So I finally got around to taking a few photos of some of the work that I finished at the end of 2015 that went into a show at Palmer Public Library in Palmer, MA.  This is one of those paintings.  I'm excited to paint a little larger this year and this painting was a good start.  The subject of the painting is the lawyer's office at Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge, MA.  The Village is a great place to visit and I find it extremely inspiring.  It speaks to my soul.  :)

This paining comes framed just like the image below.  I think it's a lovely piece if I do say so myself and is quite nice in person.

This is the actual painting all framed and ready to hang!

Thank you for stopping by!

  1. The mingled colors, especially on the door, are really lovely. You don't mat your watercolors?

  3. Wonderful mix of patterns while being a simple subject. I love the monochromatic scheme too.
