I really do like painting on Ampersand's Aquabord.  This is another small painting done on the board and finished with a gloss acrylic sealer.

Below is an image of that larger piece I'm working on - it has progressed a little since the last time I posted it and thought you might like to see.  Until the next time I post -- I hope all you American's have a joyful Fourth of July!

  1. Hello Kara:) How beautiful your cherries are! They even have a little bit of texture in them. I also love the shadow and the background is real lovely. It looks perfect all together!
Your WIP is going to be great too. Lovely colors!

  2. I love the rich colors of your fruits, which are especially evident on Ampersand. Regarding the sealer -- do you use a spray seal before the acrylic gloss medium? Thanks!

    1. Thanks for the comment Arena -- and in response to your question: yes.

  3. Wonderful cherries...love the red shadow.
