I'm getting close with this one . . . looking to have her done this week. There are lots of nit-picky details left to add to the realism; I'll be playing with some values and making sure my star artist stands out against her busy background.

Hi Kara, as a rookie watercolor artist, I admire your work and look forward to your posts! I'm intrigued by the cradled aquaboard. Is it Ampersand? I was also wondering if you varnish the sides of the board. Thanks so much for sharing your work!
