"Christmas In June"
6" x 6"

Just finished this as part of Daily Paintworks' "Stripe Challenge."  Is it ever too early for Christmas, really?  :)  Have a great day.

    gros bisous

    1. Hey Renate -- thank you for the comment. I'm glad you like this painting. It was fun to do. Not that I'm ready for Christmas . . . but at least this year I won't be scrambling to paint an image for my Christmas cards! :)

  3. Amazing detail. The texture on the stripes and the glitter on the ornament are wonderful. I can picture you with one of those magnifying lenses that jewelers use.

    1. When I read your comment you made me laugh, Virginia. Thank you for writing -- I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner. I got way behind and have been meaning to reply. I really appreciate people taking the time to comment and want you all to know that. Hope you are well. I check in with your blog from time to time and am very impressed with your work. You keep getting better and better. You go girl! :)

  4. So beautiful! Looking at this makes me as happy as I am when it comes time to getting out the box of Christmas tree decorations and looking at each ornament - especially the special ones and the keepsake ones - and the happiness all those colours and textures and shapes bring to me each time. This is truly wonderful.
