And it's working out for you beautifully. Talking about distraction I think the entire July I just kept starting new projects without finishing anything, but don't worry, there will come a time that you feel you want to finish them (at least a lot of them), and I think I will be mostly in that phase in August. Starting a painting is very exciting and have that "butterfly in the stomach" feeling to it, while finishing gives one a great sense of accomplishment through hard work, both are needed in this solitary profession. And you did finish a lot of beautiful paintings this year!
